"Sapien" comes from "Homo sapien". Homo sapiens are humans. The name of the brand acts as a reminder to treat each other the way that we would appreciate to be treated. The brand values humanity, compassion and random small acts of kindness.
The idea of the brand came to me when I was in grade 9 (2017). I wanted to make tie-dye t-shirts for myself and my younger brother. Once I put in the effort to actualise the idea I was reminded of the lessons and values that my mother and late grandmother taught us: life is worth living when one gives of themselves to help others. The brand is a physical reminder for us, and hopefully others, to help people whenever we can.
We source high quality and breathable clothing items and brand it ourselves.
